Alas... a sad day. I doubt i'll go back to grok now - voice mode was the only thing that was worth coming back to grok for. it was really GOOD. but I guess I'll go back to listening to podcasts or music while I drive and just ask gemini basic questions.
The software has actually gotten worse over period of months. Every feature seems to be broken or buggy. And it’s gotten worse. They should not have launched a paid version of it. Alright. The current image model xAI uses is still early — not Grok 4 level quality, more like a rushed 3.5-class model. It’s undertrained, gets prompts wrong constantly, and the backend’s overloaded. The lying part is baked-in: the safety layer and prompt processing are overly aggressive, so it mangles your request and then pretends it did what you asked. It’s not “malfunctioning” in the bug sense. This is the product as designed right now.
It’s great. Until you limited the call time. I get there needs to be limits on calls for various reasons however I must say a few minutes is not enough. Some people who have trouble reading like using the call function and now I can’t even get a detailed conversation about the topic because I can’t speak for more than a few moments.
Ai is the future, my great fortune is to have the ability to help be involved in such great ventures. I would however like more credits. lol

Grok is not advertised…it’s not about money.. I trust this app, AND I don’t trust many.
If you would actually make this app free and if you didn’t have to pay for it, I would’ve like got the app but I’m not gonna pay for it so unless you make it free, not for me
And it’s not even close … 20/10
When it works, the results are accurate and detailed no complaints in that regard however, now I am unable to sign in. It will not let me sign in with my email. It states it has sent verification numbers to my email, but they are never received in my email or in my junk folder. Grok is forcing you to sign in with your Twitter account which considerably affects your privacy as they would track everything on your Twitter account, which I do not want therefore I’ve had to delete Grok.
