If you’re looking for luxury, high end items, street wear, even selling this is a horrible app, customer service is almost never a real person. You never get the help you need, and scammers run this app, not all people are scammers though, but a lot are! They need to change how easy it is and need to do more verification

The site itself ties up your funds for a couple days too long. That’s an expected part of the deal. The sheer amount of times you’re reminded to ship an item is absurd. If someone orders an items on a Friday, there is no need to remind the seller 4 times a day to ship the item. It sets an unexpected standard for the buyer and independent resellers are not Amazon. I was willing to give this platform a chance but the experience has not measured up to Poshmark. I was sold a counterfeit item, which I disputed immediately after receiving the order and Depop has been “reviewing” the case for over 14 days. My follow up requests have gone unanswered, all I receive are automated emails. The communication on this platform is nonexistent. I hope others have a better experience than I had. Despite higher prices, I will definitely stick to Poshmark as their protection for buyers is unmatched.

This app lowkey sucks… You click a persons offer and it takes you to their page with nothing to accept or decline. Just poorly designed.

Depop has extended the payout for regular sellers just to make it an exclusive option to get paid “earlier”. Now it’s takes two times as long to get paid out than it used to be.

I have been trying to sell items on the app for several months. And no sales. And the app kept telling me to lower price which I have several times. So I decided to buy something to see what my buyers see. And wow was I surprised. A pair of shorts listed at 10. I offered 8 it was accepted With fees and taxes, I paid 9.99 (essentials ally no discount). I assume the seller paid the shipping or a fee as well. So they lost money. I paid more money. Not a great feeling. App only works if you absolutely love something.

My first sale. Buyer claimed damage. Depop didnt notify me until I got email saying I didn’t respond (no other notifications-I checked). So they told buyer to keep dress and they refunded buyer. So I paid Depop to scam me basically. What a joke. Deleted my account
