edit: the following week: out of desperation and an increased urgency of my work, i thought i’d give in and pay for the pro plan, but as it turns out, it is impossible to pay for a subscription even on the web - tried two different browsers and was met with the same problem: the subscribe link is unresponsive except that it will only switch from “monthly” to “annual.” i spent way too much time on this already - when your site won’t even let us start a new subscription, you really don’t need us to reach out to you in order to address this issue. by the time you respond, i hope to have found something adequate to my needs that maintains basic functionality. ******** i canceled my pro subscription last year because i got tired of having to sign in only to see my account downgraded to the free version due to some problem on y’all’s end and having to wait hours or even days for you to fix. a few days ago i thought i’d give it another chance given that y’all had been aware of the issue and after almost a year, i figured the problem was likely to have been resolved. upon sign in, i saw the offer for a free trial with no credit card required. that seemed like a nice way to see if the pro version is worth paying for again. i got partway through research for a foundation from which to grow a project before putting it aside for the weekend. and when i attempted to resume this afternoon, i saw that i was logged out and when i logged back in, it’s though i had never used this app before in my entire life. no history. no custom agents. no access to pro features. i want to use this but i can’t afford to lose everything when i’m inexplicably logged out. this app should not be logging me out but even if it does, i would expect that by signing up for an account in the first place, my data would be saved. i want to be able to access all these powerful tools with one account, but i do not have the luxury of repeatedly rebuilding my research base - one of my main reasons for using this is for keeping track of various branches of research and having a means of referencing them later on. i could at least do that before. so this is decidedly much worse. thank goodness your trial didn’t require a credit card because now i won’t have to cancel. this is nuts.

You.com is useful for everything from extracting info from and summarizing documents, to doing deep research across the internet. I use it every day!

I was double charged again for the entire year and its second time it happened. I sent emails but no response. They are terrible responding to customers. I need my money back asap and you should really improve customer service !!! No response and I sent at least 3 emails. This is unacceptable!!!

You can only use the models you would actually want to use if you pay for a pro subscription, so I did, but the app never actually upgraded me to pro status. The upgrade button next to my profile was still there and clickable, and when I clicked the app basically thought I was trying to upgrade again. I was never able to use a custom model or do anything cool, but on the bright side, I did pay twenty bucks for no reason. -10/10, would not recommend

The app doesn’t remember my account login. So it is completely useless. I’ll just use the browser version and save the frustration.

I’ve been a you.com user for two years now and I’ve loved it. Now ChatGPT is coming up with new features And are outpacing them. I need projects with attachments like yesterday and larger file uploads to store more than 20 documents. I also need an integration with getguru.com to complete my perfect AI world.

Search still needs a reconfig not getting really good results or citations, not to mention, still getting broken links.
