Nothing better on any platform. One tap recording. Sinpol.
Love that all i need to record audio is my apple watch and airpods!
This is exactly the tool I needed. Simple, and it can run on my Apple Watch WITHOUT my phone. Excellent. One question for the author: my phone is out of commission for the near future. Is there a way to force sync from my Apple Watch using either an onboard data plan or a push to my Mac-book? I’m not getting recent recordings from the watch now that my phone is out of the picture.
This app is flat awful at maintaining or storing recordings. Once you record something, it is a near guarantee it will fail to send it to your phone (or save it at all sometimes). The app in its entirety behaves as a beta phase program, and relying on it has cost me vast amounts of important recordings. Unless beating your head against a wall is a frequent hobby already, please, invest in a digital recorder.
I use this app nearly every day on my Apple Watch, and managing the recordings on my Mac couldn’t be easier. Totally worth it.
This is one of my most used apps. In particular, its ability for me to set up a complication on my Apple Watch, so I can quickly and easily record voice notes.
A lifesaver honestly
UPDATE: I’ve now had the app on my phone, watch and laptop for a few years, and it has been a real game changer in terms of capturing ideas and to-do items on the fly. The little red dot is displayed on my watch face and several times a day I press it to capture some random thing that pops into my brain. I set up a reminder that pops up on my phone each morning so that I remember to open the app either on my phone or my computer and paste the transcriptions to my to do list. Developers keep improving the app, there used to be occasional and annoying delays in syncing that seem largely resolved. #LoveThisApp #WorthPayingFor
Fantastic app! It automatically transcribes the recordings so when I check them, they're already transcribed. Also, I set it up on my Apple Watch as a complication, and with one touch I can be recording. The native Voice Memos app requires two touches, and is a little hit and miss.
